Virtual Friendships

The internet allows us to meet people on social networks, it is a common practice today and having virtual friends is very common in these days. The internet friends have their advantages and disadvantages.

The advantages of virtual friendships are that you can make friends with people from all over the world, learn about other customs and culture. There are also people who express themselves better by writing than by talking and they relate to one another when they have time and desire, otherwise they do not connect and leave. On the other hand the disadvantages of online friendships, sometimes they aren’t very transparent and people really do not show themselves as they are giving personal information to a stranger puts your safety at risk.

However, today social networks with responsible use help us to meet people who can give us employment opportunities like the Linkedin network which is the only social network that I use to socialize with people who work or are looking for a job, but always having my personal information private.
